Overview

 By becoming a member of the Autodesk Educational Community, you can download a student version of AutoCAD and have access to many other programs.  They may require further documentation to verify your student’s status.

 Once you have become a member of the Autodesk Educational Community, you are now going to download and install AutoCAD software that we will be using in this class. This software is necessary, as Autodesk Electrical runs on the backbone of AutoCAD.

This zipped folder has the project files that you will be using in this course.  You must download and extract the zipped folder.

This first video will help you set the project file and then give you a short overview of AutoCAD Electrical

This video will create a 3 phase circuit and motor with some breakers and overload protection,  This video will also explain the importance of using the proper way to move copy and delete components.

This is a 3 phase motor with a control circuit using transformers, relays and push button switches.

In this circuit we are connecting relay contacts together to create a circuit that will reverse the 3 phase motor.

This will create blocks to use in all future circuits.  There are a lot of blocks and this will take considerable time.  I have many videos covering this process, but for the most part it is repetitious.  So once you catch on, you can skip the remaining videos and finish placing the blocks in the icon menu.

This cascode bypass amplifer makes use of two BJT transistors that will amplify a small AC signal.

This regulated DC power supply circuit will use a full wave rectifier and then transistors and zener diodes to regulate the DC output.

This circuit makes use of an operational amplifier to add to inputs in a real time fashion.

This circuit uses a metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor to create a latching condition to the output.

This circuit will make use of a series of bipolar junction transistors to amplify a small AC signal.

This Set/Reset Flip Flop will store a bit of digital data.

This circuit starts off with a half adder and then creates a full adder that will be repeated to add two 4 bit binary numbers.
