 These two targets are mirror images of each other. They will be rotated to different positions and you have to determine which one it is.

You are provided a Top, Front, Right Side and Isometric View. Match the letters in the isometric view with the numbers in each of the orthographic views.

You will be given the folding pattern of a piece of paper. Then holes will be punched into it. Once unfolded, you have to determine which one is the correct pattern for the holes.

You are provided pictures of various objects. Each has its pair. The pair will have the same profile but revolved around a different axis. Your objective is to pair them up.

This zipped file contains pictures with necessary dimensions for the home.

The first step is to create gridlines that will help us positioning the walls.

The next step is to label the rooms with names and square floor space along will inserting doors.

Next we will put windows on the exterior wall and a floor and foundation under the home.

If you do not see doors and windows, here is the Revit Families files from my computer in a very large zipped file.  They must be extracted and placed in the proper location, as explained in class.

We will now put in a ceiling and a gable roof

To add design, we will paint the walls and add carpets or flooring to the floor.

Now we will furnish the bedrooms with furniture.

We will place cabinets and appliances on the exterior wall of the kitchen

There will come a time when the Revit file will become too large.  This video - even though it is from another class - will show you how to use online storage and share files.

This will add fixtures and furniture to the bathroom.

Next we will populate the living room with furniture and other things.

Last we will go to the outside and add topography with trees and bushes

This video will show how to create section views to show the interior of the home.

This video will develop the landscape, with grass and various kinds of trees.

These are the needed pictures to help with the construction of the home.

The location of the gridlines will be important for future steps.  

The levels control the heights of floors, roofs and celilings.

This provides a foundation around the parameter of the house and porch.

The porch floor will be a circular array based upon the location of the gridlines.

You will be able to search online sources for columns that you desire.

You can use the given rails or search online for other styles of rails.

Stairs will be placed in the front and back.

As we move to the 2nd floor, we will start with exterior walls and the porch roof

The interior walls will create 2 bedrooms, 2 bathtrooms and closets

The style of the doors can be from within the program or you can use online sources

For consistency, the windows needs to be the same styles as the ones on the first floor.

 The room layouts will provide names and square foot area. 

The gable roof will be pitched in two directions.

The walls around the bedrooms will extend to the roof to give a nice appearance to the bedrooms.

Adding furniture and fixtures can come from online sources.

The walls will include adding wall paper from pictures that you can choose from.

The ceilings in the bedrooms will be sloped while the others will be horizontal.

The attic floor will be over the bathrooms, closets and the hall, but not the bedrooms

You can use existing lights, or from an online source.

The topography will be sloping, placing the house on a hill top.

Dividing the topography, we can create the streams and lakes.

By continuing to divide the topography, we can create the driveway, parking lot and sidewalk to the house.

This will be an opportunity to create a exterior walk around or fly around.  You can control the camera angle, the elevation and the depth of field.

 This will be the opportunity to create a walk through of the interior of the house. 

We will finish the project with some nice renderings of the home.

The solar study will provide the sun position at different times of the day and the year.
